This is the Schneider .30 cal barrel. 416 Stainless Steel, double stress relieved, 1:10 Twist with the P5 rifle form. #4 Profile and Fluted. Enough length on this blank to provide a 24″- 26″ finished barrel.
The RCM Action has the following custom features. 17-4 Stainless Steel hardened per H-900 Specs. and Nitrided.
Receiver design is based on a Remington Type 700 action with the following
changes. Extended mag box cut to accept the Factory Box or the Wyatt MB-3 Box.
1-1/16-18 Barrel Thread (Print Provided)
Feed Lips are designed to feed a 6.5 to any Ultra round.
Receiver is same diameter front and back, No rear bridge.
Extended Ejection Port to aid in ejection of longer rounds.
8-40 Scope Base screw holes with .125 hole between screw holes for pinned
scope bases.
External Bolt Stop, moved back to allow for the longer bolt stroke.
Precision Ground Recoil Lug that is pinned to locate radially on the
receiver.
Bolt is made from ordnance grade steel with the following features.
One piece bolt body, fluted, heat treated
Ground O.D that is perpendicular to the back of the bolt lugs

The Wyatt MBE-03 Long Action Magazine Box is designed to allow the hand loader to extend his rounds up to .150 longer. It incorporates a window and break-point to allow for wider ctg. case bodies such as the Ultra Mags. When we designed our action we used the Wyatt box
Outside length is 3.910″. Inside length is 3.825″.
RCM makes their own Guard Screws. These screws are 20% stronger than a Grade 8 Hex Bolt its size. They are heat treated then sent to black oxide for a black finish. They are made longer than factory Remington screws for a custom fit when using aftermarket stocks.
